Those
we have helped with your help-->
2001-2008
we've donated $21,375.00
from our concert events to those in need
If you are a non-profit community organization and wish to sponsor a future fest by
donating a grassy outdoor venue and stage suitable
for a future fest within close proximity
to Scranton,
feel free to contact the Blues Fest with
details. Venue and owner is required to be
insured, and the generous donor must be in tune with our mission of "Charity Through
Music".
There is no
reward, other than heaps of good karma - and the joy of knowing
within
your hearts that you are helping those who are much less fortunate.
Special
thanks to all who have sponsored us over the years, and to volunteers
and friends who participated and weathered all of the "storms"
with us.
We
especially thank the bands who have donated their performances to each
of
our causes since 2001, who brought great joy to blues- and live
music-lovers in
northeast pa. And in the process, turned a whole new generation on to the best
butt-kickin' blues in the tri-state area.
They are who made it all possible, along
with Mike Wanca, our
loyal and talented soundman and his crew, and "Plain Sam",
our friend
and 99.5 FM WUSR drivetime blues dj, and Pittston and elmhurst
townships for donation of their fairgrounds/recreation fields over the
years.
A forum will be posted here just as
soon as time allows, to discuss the possibility
of another blues fest, our one and only goal - working to raise
awareness and
funds for charity, the struggles all charities and grassroots fundraisers face,
and a board for blues bands to post their support of blues and those in need.

What a time - You and your crew did it again. The only definition I can give it is "THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA". It started out four years ago with my sister-in-law, wife, and myself. We are now fifteen strong and each year has been better than the last.
I do not know how you will be able to better this past year, but I do hope your organization gives it a try. I think it is also a testament to you and your co-workers that these bands will come back, and like the Mahajibee said, it was a party. Thanks again for a real time. -Richard Marinucci, CIV USA AMC

We were very proud to have played our small part in the wonderful event that you – and your posse – so lovingly put together for our Disabled American Veterans.
Without a doubt, we’ll be happy to sponsor your future events and, even better, help you spread the word about your “Charity Through Music” so that every year more and more people will know to come out and see for themselves the generous spirit of giving exhibited by all in attendance...even the musicians, who donated their time and talent to ensure the event’s success.
It
was a pleasure working with you, and we look forward to doing so again!

My wife and I attended
the festival in Elmhurst, PA.on the 19th. All the bands were good,
and we had a real good time. I hope this festival grows every year, this was the
2nd time we attended.
Thanks for all the work
in putting this together. We will be back next year.
Thank you, Dave and Tina Alunni
Just wanted to say it
was great meeting you and we had an absolute blast playing the
Festival…
Thank you so much for having us and please keep us in mind for next
year… we’d love to do the Festival again.
Thanks again, we had
a great time and I hope everyone enjoyed our set.

Friar’s Point
Another great cause and another fantastic effort and concert run by Mary Hyland, Mary Perry & Thomas Perry.
It was extremely hot but the crowd of supporters were great (thanks to the sprinkler system). We wanted to spend all day at the festival but we’re older and maybe a little wiser and felt that if we were there all day that we might be drained by the time we had to play. We were willing to play all night or until they booted us out. We were lucky enough to hear most of Friar’s Point’s set (which was very good) and felt their pain because the sun and humidity was kicking their butts. The attendees were right on us from the start. The sweat felt good from the first tune to the last.
This was our second trip to The
Endless Mountains Blues Fest, and hopefully not the last. They have raised
$2,200,

We had a wonderful time playing The Endless Mt. Blues Fest to benefit Disabled American Vets. As long as Mahajibee can play and as long as Mary Hyland, Mary Perry & Thomas Perry are raising money to benefit the less fortunate and they want us there, we’ll get there by Greyhound Bus if we have to. It was that good.
Thanks for having us, we had a ball. Plain
Sam, you’re the man, thanks for all of your encouragement and support.
