Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger celebrates 21 years of miracles, and the commitment to provide excellence in pediatric care is stronger than ever. The addition and growth of pediatric sub-specialties within Geisinger Health System has raised the level of care available to children across western central, northeastern and central Pennsylvania. As a result, the Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville and Geisinger Medical Groups across the region are experiencing a tremendous increase in pediatric patients. Through 34 different
pediatric specialties, including oncology, cardiology, trauma,
neonatalogy, pulmonology, neurology, speech and physical therapies and
many more, Geisinger is well-equipped to handle a wide range of injuries
and illnesses that children face.
The Janet Weis Children's Hospital's pediatric allergy, heart, cancer, endoscopy, hematology and neonatalogy services are nationally acclaimed so you know your child is getting the best possible care. And just as importantly, we understand children’s social and emotional needs. Our services are clustered, so children don’t have to travel from floor to floor. Children can be X-rayed in their rooms. Our child life and educational specialists help kids stay motivated to reach their full potential. Children can even spend time with pets from our pet therapy team. In short, we do everything within our power to promote the healing and well-being of the children in our care. You may obtain a
